Every weekend of the camping season, we have fun themed weekends happening at the campground that the entire family will enjoy. Browse through our list of events and find out what weekend you want to be here… you might even need to come back for another weekend later in the season!

April 18th-19th
Opening Weekend
Easter Fun--Join us for our first weekend open of the 2025 Season. Lots of fun activities including Easter egg hunt for adults and kids!
April 25th-26th
Kids Crafts
Kids Crafts 1:00 Help us decorate the campground by painting rocks- We will then put them throughout the campground. Bring your appetites, Sh'Mokin Taco Food Truck will be here. Bingo at 7:00

May 2nd-3rd
CAW Annual Yard Sale
Always a great turn out. Either pack up your “junk” and bring to sell, turning this into someone else’s treasure, or leave space in your vehicle to shop! This will be open to the public! Pizza Buds Food Truck will be onsite to serve breakfast and lunch. The gates will “open” at 9! Bingo 7:00
May 9th-10th
Mothers Day Weekend
Bring Mom for a amazing Mother’s Day breakfast. We will be serving pancakes with fruit. Coffee/Tea/OJ will also be served. Moms eat for free, all others only $5. Don't forget your drinks, plates and utensils. Breakfast will be served in the pavilion at 10:30. Benignas Winery will be here with a tasting 12-3! Free to all moms! Kids Crafts for Mom 4:00. May 16th-17th
Grilling, Singing, and more!
Friday Night – Don’t need to pack dinner as we have The Traveling Curbside Grill here. They will have lots of tasty options for dinner, and then will be here again for breakfast on Saturday and Lunch! Bingo at 3:00 Stick around Saturday for the amazing vocals of Whisky Crush! This trio has an amazing country/southern rock vibe, and will be sure to have you dancing.
May 23rd-25th
Memorial Day Weekend
Tickets for Basket Raffle will be sold Saturday and Sunday! Saturday: Cornhole Tournament will start at 11:00. Prior sign up is required. We will meet at 10:30 at the volleyball court. Fun prizes for the winners. Games in the front yard for the kids. Meet us at 12:30 to make Giant bubbles, and play some fun water games. All ages welcome Live Music –7-10, Second Time Through Band– Their repertoire spans Motown, pop, country, but features classic rock from the Beatles to Zeppelin. Bring your chairs and snacks and get ready for a fun night of music. Sunday: Horseshoe Tournament will start at 11:00. Prior sign up is required. We will meet at 10:30 at the volleyball court. Fun prizes for the winners. Whos feeling Crafty? Kids meet us in the pavilion at 1:00 for Crafts. Bingo Time*, Kids meet back in the pavilion at 2:30 for Bingo. All ages welcome (kids only), and fun prizes for all. Bingo cards $1 each. Basket Raffle Drawing in the pavilion will start at 5:00 Bingo Time*- Join us back in the pavilion at 7:00 for Bingo!

Annual Winner Winner Chicken Dinner
Don’t feel like cooking a meal? This is the perfect event for you. We supply the chicken, and the sides. Chicken is cooked over the pit, and it’s just amazing! Sign up will be required by May 28th to to ensure availability. You bring your drinks and we will supply everything else you need. Time TBD

June 6th-7th
Annual Rubber Duck Race*
Join us for our 3rd Annual Duck Race (weather permitting) Pick a duck, and get ready to follow it from the 3rd loop all the way down to the pond! Prizes for the winning ducks, as well as the looser duck- This was so much fun year after year don’t miss this! Ducks are $2 each and all profits will be split over the season with Hegins Fire Company and local animal shelters. Bingo 7:00
June 13th-14th
Fathers Day Lunch*
Lunch will start at 1:00 in the pavilion. Bring that special guy in your life for a fun and delicious lunch of burgers, with lots of awesome toppings- You can build your burger, and chips. Don't forget your drinks, plates and utensils. Dads eat free, all others only $5.
June 20th-21st
BYOB Craft Beer Tasting
Bring your favorite “craft” beer to share with the group- We will supply some light snacks and the tasting cups. Duck Race Rain Date.
June 27th-28th
Its Tye Dye Day
Always a favorite- We supply everything you need to make your masterpiece – We will be selling CAW t-shirts or you are welcome to bring your own. Sign up is required, and CAW shirts will need to be pre ordered. We will have some sizes available the day of, but pre order to ensure your correct size. We will be assigning time slots to each who sign up! Bingo 7:00

Fourth of July Weekend
Tickets for Basket Raffle will be sold Saturday and Sunday! Friday: Horseshoe Tournament will start at 11:00. Prior sign up is required. We will meet at 10:30 at the volleyball court. Fun prizes for the winners. Kids Candy Bingo in the pavilion 1:00 Golf Cart Parade – Decorate your cart and parade around the campground! Bingo 7:00 Pool Will be open for a late-night swim. Saturday: Cornhole Tournament will start at 11:00. Prior sign up is required. We will meet at 10:30 at the volleyball court. Fun prizes for the winners. 1:00 Kids, meet in the pavilion for some red, white and blue crafts. 5:00 Basket Raffle Drawing Starting at 7:00 the DJ takes the stage, well the front yard! Bring your seats and get ready for Jeff Krick Jr-(you may also know him by Elvis) – He is such a crowd pleaser, he will be sure to have you singing and dancing to all your favorites. (and rumor has it he will be singing also!)
July 11th & 12th
Chainsaw Carving
Yes, the Sawticipation is back! He will be back carving some new and exciting pieces! The first 2 “shows” will be on Friday at the Pavilion, time TBD. The next 2 shows will be on Saturday. He will be carving 4 “special” pieces that are available to purchase, as well as bringing several others. Early Check in is offered for this weekend so you won’t miss a moment of this exciting event!
July 18th-19th
Xmas in July Part 1
Decorate your site- Come to the office to vote. Friday Night 8:00 in the front yard we will be watching a Xmas Movie (movie TBD). Bring your blankets and chairs. White Elephant Gift exchange – Bring a wrapped gift to exchange- And be ready for a lot of laughs! Kids meet us at 11:00 in the pavilion with your wrapped gift (1 gift per child, please stay within $15/$20 per gift) Adults lets meet in the pavilion at 4:00 to exchange gifts (1 gift pp, please stay within $30/$40 per gift) Bingo will start at 7:00! 9:00 in the front yard we will be watching a Xmas Movie (movie TBD). Bring your blankets and chairs.
July 25th-26th
Xmas in July Part 2
Friday Night 8:00 in the front yard we will be watching a Xmas Movie (movie TBD). Bring your blankets and chairs. Saturday -We will be making Xmas Crafts* in the pavilion starting at 11:00 Join us at 5:00 for Xmas Dinner. We supply the turkey and Ham; you bring a side to share. The food is always amazing. Don't forget your drinks, plates and utensils Bingo will start at 7:00 8:00 in the front yard we will be watching a Xmas Movie (movie TBD). Bring your blankets and chairs. Prize for best decorated site, weekend and seasonal will be announced Sunday morning prior to check out.

Ice Cream Social*
Kids Crafts 11:00 Ice Cream Social – Join us for this sweet treat! Several flavors of ice cream as well as cones, cups and all the fixings! Meet in the front yard at 2:00! Bingo will start at 7:00 8:00 Movie Night in the front yard- Bring your blankets and chairs, we will be making smores (Movie TBD)
August 8th-9th
CAW Annual Pork Dinner and Luau party
Perfect day to let us do the cooking for you. Dinner will include, pork, baked potato, corn on the cob, baked beans and roll. Price/Time TBD After this amazing meal, meet us in the front yard for a special show starting at 8:00! Elvis will be in the Campground- You asked and we listened- Elvis will be back! Come set up early!

Sip and String Art
What a fun event, a I promise its easier than it looks! Just stringing Around will be here at 11:00am. New boards to choose from will be posted with prices soon! Great afternoon, bring your drinks snacks and friends, its really a lot of fun! Bingo 7:00

BYOB Wine tasting
2:00 BYOB Wine tasting- Bring your favorite bottle of wine to share- We will supply light snacks and tasting cups- Such a fun time. 7:00 Whisky Crush will be back with us for an encore performance- If you have not seen them, it’s a perfect night to set up your chairs in the front yard.
August 29th-31st
Labor Day Weekend
Tickets for Basket Raffle will be sold Saturday and Sunday! Saturday: Cornhole Tournament will start at 11:00. Prior sign up is required. We will meet at 10:30 at the volleyball court. Fun prizes for the winners. 2:00 Kids Bingo- meet in the pavilion for fun prizes. Live Music –7-10 Atomic Rock Band - If you’re looking for an old school rock and roll party you’ve come to the right place. The Atomic Rock band is named for its non-stop energy. Once they start grooving they don’t stop until the party’s over. Playing the best hits from the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and today this band knows how to keep you dancing, rocking and smiling all night long. Bring your chairs and snacks and get ready for a fun night of music. Sunday: Horseshoe Tournament will start at 11:00. Prior sign up is required. We will meet at 10:30 at the volleyball court. Fun prizes for the winners. Fred's Farm of Misfits will be here- this amazing petting zoo is sure to put a smile on your face! Sept. 5th-6th
Weenie Roast
We supply the weenies; you bring the sides and the fixins! We will have music playing, bring your chairs and enjoy a fun night with your fellow campers. We will have grilled and fire roasted Weenies! Come up to the front yard/Lodge at 6:00. Don't forget your plates and utensils Dead Man Walking will be here again with mixed drinks, body bags and bottle sales.
Sept. 12th-13th
Ax Throwing is coming back to CAW!
Axe of Faith will be here starting at 11:00 in the parking lot! Here is some info from the company- “We have 2 lanes on our trailer, typical thrower throws for at least 5 to 10 minutes each (it depends on how well they are throwing). They will typically throw 12 times, with the first 2 throws being teaching throws. There are no age restrictions; throwers must be able to throw the axe hard enough that it will stick in the boards and they must listen to the directions of the Axe-Masters. Sound fun? The cost will be $15pp. Sign up is required! We will also have Divine Creation Food Truck on site! Amazing food to help get your strength up to throw those Axes.

11:00 Kids Thanksgiving Crafts. Friendsgiving – Gobble Gobble, meet us at the pavilion at 5:00, We supply the turkey, you bring a side to share with camp friends and family. Always an amazing dinner- don't forget your drinks, plates and utensils.

Annual Chili Cookoff/Potluck dinner
Bring your best Chili to the pavilion for our Annual Chili Cookoff/Potluck dinner. Fun prizes for the best Chili (s). If you are not a Chili fan, just bring a potluck dish to share, so you don’t miss any of the fun!
Oct. 10th-11th
Soup Night
Annual Campground favorite- Meet in the pavilion at 5:00, Bring your favorite soup to share, we will make the grilled cheese sandwiches- Such a great chilly night dinner.

Halloween is Coming!
Decorate your site - Come to the office to vote. Pumpkin Carving and painting in the pavilion will start at 11:00. Sign up is required to ensure a pumpkin, Price TBD. We will have a carving station as well as painting station. 4:00 Get those costumes and get your candy bags ready, it’s time to start to Trick Or Treat! Don’t forget we have both sides of the campground who will be participating.

Halloween is Here!
