Every weekend of the camping season, we have fun themed weekends happening at the campground that the entire family will enjoy. Browse through our list of events and find out what weekend you want to be here… you might even need to come back for another weekend later in the season!



* Bingo will be held every Saturday 7:00pm unless noted, and is open to all ages
* All events/crafts will require sign up unless noted. Crafts will be $2 each unless noted

April 20th

Brunch

Bring your favorite breakfast/lunch dish to share. We will provide Coffee/Tea/OJ/bottled Water. Meet in the pavilion at 10:30am. We will also supply plates and plasticware! Starting at 1:00pm The Spirit Whisper will be back*! - Michele is a medium, she will connect you with passed over loved ones by bringing thru their personalities, how they passed away, your current life situations! She will write down the messages that come thru and you get to keep the paper as a memento!

April 27th

Rubber Duck Race

Join us for our 2nd Annual Duck Race (weather permitting) Pick a duck, and get ready to follow it from the 3rd loop all the way down to the pond! Prizes for the winning ducks- This was so much fun last year don’t miss this! Ducks are $2 each and all profits will be split over the season with Hegins Fire Company and local animal shelters.

May 4th

Craft Day/Vendor Day/Yard Sale

Join us for our Annual Craft/Vendor Day*, and this year we are adding in our Annual Yard sale to the day- If you are a crafter/vendor we would love to have you, or if you have a bunch of “junk” bring it and turn this into someone else’s treasure. This will be open to the public! Pizza Buds Food Truck will be onsite to serve breakfast and lunch. The gates will “open” at 9!

May 11th

Mothers Day Weekend

Bring Mom for a amazing Mothers Day breakfast*. We will be serving Camp A While Toast (German French Toast) & Regular French Toast, and fruit. Coffee/Tea/OJ will also be served. Moms eat for free, all others only $5. Don't forget your drinks, plates and utensils. Breakfast will be served in the pavilion at 10:30am. Must sign up by May 8th to ensure availability. Mothers Day Kids Crafts*- Adults please send the kids up to the pavilion so they can make a special gift for mom, or the special woman in their life! Craft is TBD. Please meet in the pavilion at 2:00pm. Wine Basket Bingo* will be an amazing end to a wonderful day of pampering Mom. Join us for a fun night of Bingo, but your winnings will be Bottles of Wine! Kids are welcome also, we will have separate prizes for those who are under 21. Meet us at 7:00pm in the pavilion.

May 18th

Deadman Walking Moonshine Tasting

If you are 21 or older join us for lunch (hotdogs and chips) and a moonshine tasting! Deadman Walking will be joining us for the first time this season. We are very excited to have them. They will have several flavors of moonshine to taste, slushies as well as bottle sales. More information on the flavors of moonshine will be announced soon. (Rain Date for the Rubber Duck Race) You do not need to be present, if you are not with us this weekend and purchased a duck we will have several duck wranglers to ensure your duck heads to the finish line.

May 25th-26th

Memorial Day Weekend

Saturday:
Tickets for Basket Raffle will be sold Saturday and Sunday! Cornhole Tournament will start at 11:00. Prior sign up is required. We will meet at 10:30 at the volleyball court. Fun prizes for the winners. Games in the front yard for the kids. Meet us at 11:30 to make Giant bubbles, and play some fun games. Live Music – The Hometown Boyz will be playing in the front yard at 7:00pm. Bring your chairs and snacks and get ready for a fun night of music. The Hometown Boyz play something for everyone, offering classic rock, country and bluegrass all in one show.
Sunday:
Horseshoe Tournament will start at 11:00. Prior sign up is required. We will meet at 10:30 at the volleyball court. Fun prizes for the winners. Who's feeling Crafty? Kids meet us in the pavilion at 11:30 for Crafts*. Bingo Time*, Kids meet back in the pavilion at 1:30 for Bingo. All ages welcome (kids only), and fun prizes for all. Bingo cards $1 each. Basket Raffle Drawing in the pavilion will start at 5:00 Bingo Time*- Join us back in the pavilion at 7:00 for Bingo!

June 1st

Whiskey Crush Acoustics

Join us in the front yard and welcome Whiskey Crush Acoustics. They will start playing at 7pm so make sure you bring your chairs and snacks early to get a spot! They are an acoustic act with a country/southern rock vibe, not to be missed.

June 8th

Its Tye Dye Day*

Always a favorite - We supply everything you need to make your masterpiece – We will be selling CAW t-shirts or you are welcome to bring your own. Sign up is required, and CAW shirts will need to be pre ordered. We will have some sizes available the day of, but pre order to ensure your correct size. We will be assigning time slots to each who sign up!

June 15th

Fathers Day Lunch*

The lunch will start at 1:00 in the pavilion. Bring that special guy in your life for a fun and delicious lunch of homemade sausage and peppers, and macaroni/potato salad. Don't forget your drinks, plates and utensils. Dads eat free, all others only $5. Hegins Brewing company will be giving free samples as well as selling cans starting at 4:00 at the pavilion.

June 22nd

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner*

Don’t feel like cooking a full meal? This is the perfect event for you. We supply the chicken, you bring a side to share. Chicken is cooked over the pit, and its just amazing! Sign up will be required by June 19th to ensure availability. Don't forget your drinks, plates and utensils - Time TBD

June 29th

Ice Cream Social*

Join us for this sweet treat! Several flavors of ice cream as well as cones, cups and all the fixings! Meet in the front yard at 2:00! Come sing and Dance with us starting at 7:00! Jeff Krick Jr will be joining us to show off his DJ skills! Some of you know him better as ELVIS! Jeff will not only take your requests as CAW DJ but may also surprise us by singing! Bring your chairs to the front yard early to get the best seat!

July 4th

Fourth of July Weekend

4th: Local Fireworks schedule TBA
5th: Ax Throwing is coming to CAW*! Axe of Faith will be here starting at 11:00 in the parking lot! Here is some info from the company- “We have 2 lanes on our trailer, typical thrower throws for at least 5 to 10 minutes each (sometimes it depends on how well they are throwing). They will typically throw 12 times, with the first 2 throws being teaching throws. We do not have any age restrictions, throwers must be able to throw the axe hard enough that it will stick in the boards and they must listen to the directions of the Axe-Masters. If they deem a situation unsafe, they will make the call for the thrower to stop throwing without refund” Sound fun? The cost will be $15pp. Sign up is required!
6th: Cornhole Tournament will start at 11:00. Prior sign up is required. We will meet at 10:30 at the volleyball court. Fun prizes for the winners. Kids and adults alike, meet us at the pavilion at 10:45- Porpucine Pat will be joining us again to “Take a Sneak Peek at the Creek” Wear water shoes or boots, as well be getting our feet wet in the creek! Take a seat in the front yard and get ready for the Rock N Roll Express DJs! They will be starting at 7pm, and will be sure to have you singing and dancing to all your favorites.

July 12th & 13th

Chainsaw Carving

Yes the Sawticipation is back! He will be back carving some new and exciting pieces! The first 2 “shows” will be on Friday at the Pavilion, time TBD. The next 2 shows will be on Saturday. He will be carving 4 “special” pieces that are available to purchase, as well as bringing several others.
Early Check in is offered for this weekend so you wont miss a moment of this exciting event!

July 20th

Xmas in July Part 1

Decorate your site - Come to the office to vote. Friday Night 8:00 in the front yard we will be watching a Xmas Movie (movie TBD). Bring your blankets and chairs. Saturday -We will be making Xmas Crafts* in the pavilion starting at 11:00. Join us at 5:00 for Xmas Dinner. We supply the turkey and Ham, your bring a side to share. The food is always amazing. Don't forget your drinks, plates and utensils. 8:00 in the front yard we will be watching a Xmas Movie (movie TBD). Bring your blankets and chairs. Prize for best decorated site, weekend and seasonal will be announced Sunday morning prior to check out.

July 27th

Xmas in July Part 2

Decorate your site- Come to the office to vote. Friday Night 8:00 in the front yard we will be watching a Xmas Movie (movie TBD). Bring your blankets and chairs. White Elephant Gift exchange – Bring a wrapped gift to exchange - And be ready for a lot of laughs! Kids meet us at 11:00 in the pavilion with your wrapped gift (1 gift per child, please stay within $15/$20 per gift) Adults lets meet in the pavilion at 6:30 to exchange gifts ( 1 gift pp, please stay within $30/$40 per gift) Bingo will start at 8:00! 9:00 in the front yard we will be watching a Xmas Movie (movie TBD). Bring your blankets and chairs.

August 3rd

Ice Cream Social*

Join us for this sweet treat! Several flavors of ice cream as well as cones, cups and all the fixings! Meet in the front yard at 2:00! Hegins Brewing company will be giving free samples as well as selling cans starting at 4:00 at the pavilion. 8:00 Movie Night in the front yard- Bring your blankets and chairs, we will be making smores (Movie TBD)

August 10th

CAW Annual Pork Dinner and Luau party*

Perfect day to let us do the cooking for you. Dinner will include, pork, baked potato, corn on the cob, baked beans and roll. Price/Time TBD After this amazing meal, meet us in the front yard for a special show starting at 8:00! Elvis will be in the Campground- You asked and we listened- Elvis will be back! Come set up early!

August 17th

Wine Tasting

King Cole Winery will be back with a tasting as well as Slushie Sales. If you would like to pre order slushies we will be working with the winery to have this happen! Tasting, bottle sales and slushie sales will begin at 3:00 in the pavilion. This will be a free tasting for all campers. Bring your snacks, buy a bottle or a slushie and stay for a while! (Geri promises to have several coolers of slushies for us this time!)

August 24th

Sip and String Art

What a fun event, and I promise its easier than it looks! Just stringing Around will be here at 11:00am. New boards to choose from will be posted with prices soon! Great afternoon, bring your drinks snacks and friends, its really a lot of fun!

August 31st

Weenie Roast

We supply the weenies, you bring the sides and the fixins! We will have music playing, bring your chairs and enjoy a fun night with your fellow campers. We will have grilled and fire roasted Weenies! Come up to the front yard/Lodge at 6:00. Don't forget your drinks, plates and utensils

We will meet at 10:30 at the volleyball court. Fun prizes for the winners. Bingo Time*, Kids meet back in the pavilion at 1:30 for Bingo. All ages welcome (kids only), and fun prizes for all. Gobble Gobble, meet us at the pavilion at 5:00, We supply the turkey, you bring a side to share with camp friends and family. Always an amazing dinner- don't forget your drinks, plates and utensils.

Potluck Dinner

Hegins Fire Company will be here with the firetruck, as well as some other goodies to help with fire safety! Time TBD Italian Potluck Dinner- Bring your favorite Italian Dish to share. Meet at the pavilion at 6:00, don't forget your drinks, plates and utensils. Bingo will begin 8:00

Halloween is Coming!

Decorate your site - Come to the office to vote. Pumpkin Carving and painting* in the pavilion will start at 11:00. Sign up is required to ensure a pumpkin, Price TBD. We will have a carving station as well as painting station. 3:00 Get those costumes and get your candy bags ready, its time to start to Trick Or Treat! Don’t forget we have both sides of the campground who will be participating. 6:00 Bring your best Chili to the pavilion for our Annual Chili Cookoff/Potluck dinner. Fun prizes for the best Chili (s). If you are not a Chili fan, just bring a potluck dish to share, so you don’t miss any of the fun! Prize for best decorated site, weekend and seasonal will be announced Sunday morning prior to check out.
